• 1100 - The 11xx series flat cars are all of common origin in their use of the USATC type boxcar under frames as the basis of the rebuilding. Thus while decks, side and end sills, and their external attachments varied extensively, often on the same car at different times, the 11xx have identical center sills, draft gear housings, body bolsters, cross sills, and (mostly) brake gear.
