During fall 1968, the historic building at White Pass were removed. With the new and efficient CAT bulldozer there was no more need of the Rotary fleet. Because of this there was no need of a snow shed at White Pass.

The old image of the White Pass summit show from right to left. US Customs, US and British Flag, snow shed, the old orginal station at the snow shed. The remain of the old White Pass summit hotel, the train in the back with the coal bunker and behind the snow fence in front of the lake we see the Canadian / Britsih Custom office. White Pass Summit Section House (US Side)
This image from February / March 1963 shows very nice the section house on the US side of the White Pass station. In the background there are the two flag pole for the US and Canadian flag. The shed was also called boundary shed. Collection of Boerries Burkhardt 1963.
